"The time has come," the Walrus said...

After plenty of encouragement—and despite the fact that parts of the site are still under construction—I've decided it's time to launch Alberty Creative.

For those of you who actually know me, you know that self-promotion is anathema to my midwestern brain. But we have moved from the technological age to the self-promotional age, and daddy needs his LV bag before the next pro-capitalism bagfire.

Gross. That was gross. Felt gross. Sounded gross. But my social media mentor tells me to use the word “daddy” and write about Louis Vuitton bags and I’ll get “hella hits”—whatever that means.

So here I am. Alberty Creative.

Over the past month, I've quietly begun sharing posts about writing, theatre, family life, creativity, and whatever fascinating rabbit hole happened to occupy my brain that day.

And yes...products.

This website brings together nearly everything I'm passionate about creating:

Rather than maintaining separate websites for every interest, I wanted one place where all of these creative pursuits could live together.

RPGamers: Fantasy Art for Tabletop Gamers

One of the projects closest to my heart is for RPGamers, a line of graphic-based designs inspired by tabletop role-playing games.

A major goal of this collection is greater diversity of representation. Each heritage is illustrated in an artistic style that reflects its overall aesthetic and cultural inspiration.

The Human collection, for example, uses classic pen-and-ink illustration. I had the privilege of collaborating with talented artists Koe Studios (Venezuela) and Fukamihb (Italy) to bring these designs to life, and I'm incredibly proud of the results.

If you're curious, take a look at the Human Barbarian collection—it's one of the first major rollouts.

The Elven series draws inspiration from the breathtaking Art Nouveau work of Alphonse Mucha. It's still evolving, but the Barbarian collection is nearly complete, and my plan is to expand that concept across every heritage as the finished Human line rolls out.

Japanglish: Japanese-Inspired Designs

Another ongoing project is Japanglish, a collection celebrating the wonderfully unexpected intersections of Japanese and English.

The name traces back to one of my favorite web sightings: a T-shirt in a Japanese store that proudly proclaimed:

"American Dude Boy Kiss My Yass."

That unforgettable bit of accidental poetry inspired what was originally the company name, American Dude Boy, before everything eventually found its home under Alberty Creative.

Expect designs inspired by Japanese culture, folklore, language, and the more-than-occasional tanuki.

Creativity Without Borders

At its core, Alberty Creative exists for one reason:

I have more ideas than time.

Stories. Artwork. Games. Essays. Designs. Products. Creative experiments.

This website is my attempt to bring those ideas into the light instead of leaving them scattered across notebooks, sketchpads, and half-finished files.

As the community grows, I also hope to build a Patreon that helps me support new creative work, larger projects, and more frequent releases.
