"Going Blue" is a phrase comedians and comic actors use to mean getting dirty, filthy, bawdy, NSFW, against-family-values. I was advised to submit one of my monologues on going blue as an article to the Journal of General Semantics. And what do you know? It #@*%ing got published.
After many years, my writing group decided to self-publish an anthology. It has some wonderful stories of comfort in nature, breathtaking poetry, weird and wonderful essays, and relatable stories from family life. I have a couple of things in there, too.
My friend and writing partner Lyndsay Prince understand the world in very different ways. So much so, several people have suggested that we sell tickets simply to hear us converse with each other. We put it all into a podcast called What Do You Wanna Talk About?
I love cooking. I love history. I love creating within the weird. Rediscovering Recipes is right in my wheelhouse. Follow Prof. Peter Pizzle as he works through old and ancient recipes from around the world and tastes them to see if they hold up.
