WRITING & EDITING
Drawing on decades of experience as an English and grammar teacher, college adjunct instructor, and creative professional, I have developed a versatile understanding of writing across audiences and genres. My editing work centers on clarifying voice, purpose, and intention, helping writers communicate with precision, authenticity, and impact while adapting their message to meet the needs of diverse readers and contexts. Yes, the Oxford comma is a hill I would die on.

TEACHING & TUTORING
My passion for learning and commitment to educational equity have guided my teaching and tutoring career, allowing me to support students from all socioeconomic backgrounds in both remedial and advanced English, literature, and writing courses. I find joy in helping learners of any age develop research skills, discover their unique voices through writing, and build confidence, creativity, and communication skills through performance and acting.

SPEAKING & PERFORMANCE
Years of performing, writing, directing, and producing engaging events—from poetry slams and sketch comedy to original musicals—have strengthened my ability to connect with audiences of all sizes. These experiences have cultivated a confident, adaptable presence, allowing me to communicate with authenticity and impact, whether inspiring laughter, provoking reflection, or delivering meaningful educational experiences on a variety of topics. I am done with mime, though. And I am a big fan of the em dash.

COLLABORATION
Few accomplishments are achieved alone. Most meaningful projects are the result of people working together, each contributing their unique strengths to create something greater than any one person could produce. I value collaboration because it allows individuals to complement one another's talents—where I have limitations, a colleague may excel. My responsibility is to bring my own expertise, creativity, and dedication to the work, while trusting others to do the same.
